Summer Renovations

Beginning of summer we discovered our dishwasher had a slow leak and damaged our laminate floor and ceiling. We had the restoration company fixing the mess and it took all summer to renovate. So in the mean time I painted the whole main floor, two bathrooms and hallways so it would look all fresh and new. It took the whole summer for the renovations to be complete. Here are some pictures of the finished rooms. So glad its done.

Crystal and Unique Lighting Fixtures

I love crystal Chandeliers they give me a warm and spiritual feeling.  Theres just something magical about them. I love this one that I saw at Art knapps Nursery in Surrey it was above their fairy garden display. I love how they mixed nature and glamour together by adding some tree branches to the chandelier.

We also visited the Hero's lottery home the same day and saw this unique, modern, warm light fixture above the Great room. I love lighting its the first thing I look at when I enter a house. Its one of the most important features to me it can really make a room. My favourite light fixtures are modern crystal lights for the dining room and bathroom. It adds glamour and warmth to a house.

Family Trip to Krause Berry Farms For The Best Strawberry Pie

We decided to have a family trip to Krause Berry Farms and Estate Winery. I love going to this large farm they have a market, Bakery, U pick flower garden, U-pick your own berries and a Estate Winery. And if you don't like to pick your own berries you can buy already picked berries and veggies. We always go to get a large strawberry pie and homemade blueberry ice-cream. The pie is delicious and huge.

I love going in their U-pick flower garden so pretty to walk through and take pictures of the gorgeous flowers. This year I am hoping to make it to the 3rd annual Butterfly Release for the Langley Hospice July 9th. It is on my list to photograph a butterfly can you imagine getting pictures of hundreds of them. 

I you have a chance to go out its a great place to go and taste some wine, buy fruit,veggies and enjoy the garden it is located at 6179-248th Street Langley, BC. 

I love these ceramic donuts they had on display in their market. 

Flower Girl Rhinestone Glitters Hair Clippies

I made these hair clippies for the young Flower Girls that still have fine hair but would like to have something sparkly and pretty in their hair on the special occasion. These hair clippies are made with partially lined alligator clips with a no slip silicone grip to hold in fine hair. 

Right now I have silver and gold and I am hoping to find rose gold. These are $10.00 for the pair and I will be listing them on Etsy hopefully by today. They are so sweet I think every Flower Girl will love them. These could also be worn for any occasion. 

Spring 2016 Ducklings

I love to photograph ducklings they are so fluffy and sweet. I Look forward to this time of the year. I found these ducklings in a pond at the Richmond Olympic Oval Centre. They have the most awesome duck pond there. Here are some pictures of the fuzzy cuties. 

   

Long Weedend Family Outing to Steveston, BC

This long weekend we decided to have a family outing so we went to Steveston, Richmond BC. Of course we had to order take out fish and chips because the food is so yummy there and its cool you get to eat outside along the beach. My hubby likes to relax a and sit on a rock and watch the boats go by and I love to take photos a fairly new hobby of mine that I can not quit I am very addicted. 

Here is a picture I snapped of my son and hubby talking about the history of Steveston and how it was a big fishing community. And of course me capturing the moment of them bonding. 

I asked my hubby to get this picture of us with the beautiful flowers. It took my hubby so long to get this picture I wanted him to hurry up because people were coming and I wanted to be finished before they saw us posing like this. I didn't want them to think we were going pee in the bush. lol Of course it took to long that the couple did end up walking past and of course were laughing, I guess they thought it was funny to see two people peeking out of the flowers. Oh well the things that you will do to try to get a great shot. lol
