Majestic Peacocks

Peacocks are such majestic creatures. I love the metallic greens and royal blues in their feathering. And when they extend their tails nothing but spectacular. My aunt used to have them on her farm and every fall when the peacocks would moult their feathers she would collect them and put them in a vase. I used some of the feathers to make bridal hair fascinators and peacock earrings. The only thing not majestic about them is their scream it sounds like they are yelling help and not to many people living close to them enjoy the sound. I took these pictures at the Greater Vancouver Zoo in Aldergrove, BC. This guy was displaying and calling for the female. I hope you enjoy the pictures of this beauty.
